This in-depth and multi-faceted background has shaped the development of aXessPoint into a highly functional solution for properties throughout Hawaii and the mainland U.S.
Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer
Bello has nearly a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, previously working in restaurant and hotel-resort operations for high-volume organizations such as Disney World and celebrity chef Guy Fieri Signature Restaurants.
Bello also spent 10 years in software development, launching and overseeing software firms in California and Hawaii. He currently runs the day-to-day operations of aXess Point, including marketing, business development, finance and overall strategy. He is a graduate of Hawaii Pacific University in Honolulu, and has served as a featured speaker for the Hawaii Venture Capital Association (HVCA), among other “Island Innovators.” In 2018 Bello was a finalist in the Hawaii Venture Capital Association "Entrepreneur of the Year Awards."
Co-Founder and Chief of Business Development
Michael has more than 15 years of experience in construction, construction project management and building management. He recently served as the managing partner at a Honolulu-based software company, where he maintained sales programs and built business relationships. In his current role, he develops aXess Point’s customer-support functions. He also oversees sales strategy.
Chief Executive Officer
Eric Taylor is a seasoned entrepreneur, operations, and project management professional with an array of skillsets in IT/Software Development, Construction, and Telecommunications. Mr. Taylor was a founder and CEO of IDC Joint Venture, a Hawaii-based company that provided network infrastructure services to the wireless telecommunications industry, which was acquired by Centerline Solutions in 2015.
Prior to that he served as the Director of IT/Operations at a global construction company that specialized in military contracts and served as a senior manager with an assortment of software and consulting companies on both the software development and the implementation side of their businesses.
Mr. Taylor has a AB degree from Princeton University.
Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer
Damian Pherigo holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California and is completing his MBA program at Berkeley's Haas School of Business. He has worked across the entire technology product life cycle through his experience in Boeing's engineering leadership development program and through his support strategy and product operations experience at Google.
Mr. Pherigo has a Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering from University of Southern California (USC).
Chief Technical Advisor
Application development from idea to app store. Mahboud has worked with companies, small (startup) to large (ESPN, Google), and has a track record of successful app development and deployment, including user feedback and behavior analysis to feed rapid iteration. He has been invaluable as a software architect, team leader and experienced advisor on many projects from an app product strategy perspective, saving projects from a number of shortsighted decisions and positioning them for success.
Mahboud has a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Princeton University.
Managing Partner - Botswana
Tefo has a very strong technical background, having worked as a consultant and advisor across a variety of notable institutions including Accenture, Debswana and Local Enterprise Authority (LEA). His strong sense of knowledge and intuition in the field has positioned him to be adept at the use of technology in business, monitoring utilisation of technology and suggesting ways to address productivity, quality and efficiency problems using technology.
Tefo has a MEng (Hons) Computer Systems Engineering from Cardiff University.
Customer Success Manager
Tim possesses a keen understanding of technology and how people interact with it on a daily basis. Tim’s experience includes 300+ hours of teaching people to use computers and technology in general at Microsoft and this only grows as more customers use and advise him on what features they value most.
When it was shown to him for the first time, Tim immediately saw the usefulness as well as the validity of aXessPoint in. Being a firm believer in communication Tim was impressed with aXessPoint as well as seeing its potential for growth on a multinational scale. Foreseeing problems that people would have when adapting and bringing on new software to a workplace and an attitude of understanding and patience made Customer Success Manager a natural fit.
